In April 2020 Tekyn was the first company to set up its headquarters on AB Productions’ former film studio site in Saint-Denis, which Plaine Commune Développement purchased at the start of 2019. The textile laser cut-out start-up was cramped in its 300 m² premises at La Courneuve and the 1,000 m² space enabled it to increase its production of fabric masks during the first lockdown.

Tekyn has since been joined by a dozen companies, which give the site new impetus and contribute to the city’s economic redeployment, while waiting for the urban project.
